My name is Ellen, I'm an animal lover and cat-mom to two adorable rescues. I grew up with dogs in Ohio and have always enjoyed dog-sitting and dog walking. I've only been in Milwaukee for a few months, so I'm excited to explore the area with your pup! I miss my dog back home and am seriously dog-deprived, so I've got lots of love and attention to give to your four-legged family member!

“I’ll always make sure your dog is happy and safe”

I grew up in Rosendale, Wisconsin with a sheltie, a samoyed, and a setter/husky/shepherd/golden mix - all with such different temperaments and personalities. The dog I had the closest bond with, the setter mix - Sadie, passed away a few years ago and I miss her so much. I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs and it’s weird not being around them, so I thought dog walking would be a fun way to make some cash and hang out with some furry friends in the neighborhood!

Hi everyone! My name is Meilani and I’ve been certified animal fanatic all my life. Although didn’t start walking/ training dogs until 2017 when I moved to NYC. Something about roaming Manhattan by myself seemed scary, but having a furry companion next to me seemed to make it all more ... fun, approachable, fur-tastic! That’s when I realized this is my dream job, no matter the place. Thanks for letting me live it and I’m excited to meet your fav friend <3

Nine miles is all that stands between you and Pelishek-Tiffany Nature Trail. This is another one of the infamous Rails-to-Trails efforts. You will love how they took these 6 miles of unused rail corridor and turned it into something that you and your dog can walk happily through. It is a peaceful trail that runs in between the cities of Clinton and Allens Grove. You can visit all year-round. In the winter, it is even open to snowmobiles! This is a great way to enjoy nature and see exactly the same sights as you would if you were traveling in the rail cars of the past.

Paw Print Park at Prairie Knoll Park is just about 11 miles from you. You will love that the trails are winding and long as you walk your dog off-leash to enjoy the nature of the area. The dog park is double gated with high fences so  that you don’t have to worry about your dog accidentally getting lost. In the summer, there are pools to splash in and plenty of water for everyone to enjoy. With 17 acres to explore, you are sure to always find something new to do and explore. If you have an arthritic dog or one requires physical therapy, this is a great spot to let him enjoy some relaxed swimming.  You’re more than welcome to join your dog. If you don’t feel like it, though, he can swim with someone in the facility! This is an indoor pool, only 16 miles from you, that is designed and focused on your fur baby’s enjoyment and well-being.

Canine Corners Dog Park is a little bit of a drive at 20 miles, but you and your dog are sure to have a barktastic time playing here. There is a fee to play, but it all goes to the upkeep of the park. They provide water all year long, poop bags, and a safe place to play. They take aggressive behavior very seriously and will not allow it. It is a great place to meet new fur buddies in a safe way. There are plenty of shaded spots to sit so you can relax while watching Fido make some new fur-iends.

It will take you about a 20-mile car ride to get to Milton Dog Park, but once you are here, you will be so glad that you came to visit. There are three fenced in areas for Fido to run and play in. One of these areas contains a good sized agility park for Fido to show off his impressive skills. You can also walk along the trails that are within the gated dog area. When you are all done playing, you can stop by the washing station and clean your pal’s paws before the trip back home. The best part is, it’s all off-leash!
