The Countyline Road neighborhood in the center of Delano offers pups and their humans a wooftacular time playing outdoors together in the Cecil Park and Frederick Field. Cecil Park, located just off Cecil Avenue, features two spacious lots, one to the north and one to the south, that include well-equipped children's playgrounds, picnic areas, spacious grassy grounds, and a large, gated skate park. The Frederick Field is a paw away on the other side of Delano High School, and features a sports field frequently used by students, but also by locals outside practice and game hours. Make sure to keep your pup leashed while strolling in the community parks.

Fremont

Explore Delano on foot with Fido by discovering the much-loved community parks. Here in the Fremont neighborhood, you and your pup will find the pawpular Cesar Chavez Park which is proudly part of the Parks & Recreation Department of Delano. Located at the point between Ellington Street and 10th Avenue, the Cesar Chavez Park features shady and sunny picnic tables, playground equipment for kids, plus restrooms and a baseball field. All of which give families and friends the oppawtunity to come together and have some fun! Leash up your pup and go for a stroll in the grass before resting your paws at the covered gazebo.

Bel-Aire

The neighborhood of Bel-Aire in Delano offers pups the chance to stay active while enjoying a woof of fresh air in the puptastic Jefferson Park. This park boasts a large, spacious area complete with outdoor tennis courts, a baseball field, and a large grassy area for Fido to explore. Similar to the other community parks in Delano, Jefferson has a covered gazebo which is available for reservation for private use, but can be used publicly at anytime. It's the pawfect location to bring your kids and furkids along, as there are well-kept children's playground equipment on site, in addition to restrooms and picnic tables. You and your pup will have a furrific time in the Bel-Aire neighborhood!

South Delano

South Delano is a large neighborhood located just nearby the Delano Municipal Airport. Whether you're based here or are in town for a weekend, the South Delano neighborhood offers you and your pup the chance to get outdoors and stretch your paws at two wooftastic parks: The Memorial Park and the smaller Valle Vista Park. Memorial Park is easily ranked as one of the best park's in town, thanks to its wooftastic amenities and spacious grounds. It's the pawfect location for family gatherings, birthday parties, celebrations, and more! The Valle Vista Park, albeit smaller, is also a wooftastic place to visit with Fido and includes gazebos, playgrounds, and even a small water park!

North Delano

North Delano is a great neighborhood to visit with your pup if you're woofin' for dog-friendly lodging. The Rodeway Inn and Best Western Liberty Inn Delano are two puptastic hotels that offer your dog of any size to come stay the night for a reasonable and small fee per night. No pet weight restrictions apply, so even your big puppy dawg can join in on the fun! These hotels are both conveniently located in northern Delano, next to downtown and right by Highway 99. Both places are well-rated and will be happy to accommodate your pooch, but the Rodeway Inn is slightly more affordable yet still offers puptastic rooms and service.
