I have been walking my friends dogs daily for a few years. I have some extra time in the summer (I am a teacher), so I thought I would expand this to other dogs in the metro area. I am honest, responsible, and trustworthy. I promise to treat your dog as if he/she is my own.

“I look forward to walking your dog!”

Hi! My name is Kate. With the COVID-19 shutdowns this is my only way of income and I appreciate any and all walks. I joined Wag to be able to spend more time with pups and because it’s a great side job. I’m very responsible and patient with animals but also love to spoil them. I have walked dogs before and am excited to be able to schedule on my own with owners, I can’t wait to meet and walk your dog!

“I'll probably give your pooch a sweet nickname.”

The world has changed quite a bit this year and our constant source of happiness has been our pets. For everyone's safety, I'll wear a mask and have freshly sanitized hands before handling any fur babies. I've loved working with Wag! for over a year and have met so many pooches. It's a guarantee they will get extra scratches and treats (if allowed). My eyes will always be looking out for your pups. I can't wait to meet and care for more tail-waggers.

Dog Walking in Shoreview

Shoreview is a city in Minnesota located about 15 miles outside of Minneapolis. Although Shoreview wasn’t officially incorporated until 1957, it was first settled over 100 years prior, in 1850. The area was found when settlers of a nearby town branched out to look for suitable farmland. With the city being so close to Minneapolis, though, it isn’t too surprising that Shoreview is no longer used for agriculture. Today, the city is known for being voted one of America’s best family-friendly towns, according to Family Circlemagazine.

Unfortunately, this family-friendly award doesn’t extend to four-legged family members. Shoreview has no dog parks or dog-friendly restaurants. Luckily, Minneapolis is nearby, and the larger city has plenty of places that will welcome Fido to join in on the fun. There are, however, a couple of veterinarian clinics located in Shoreview, so if you need care for a sick or injured pup, help is available just around the corner.

Shoreview is a beautiful, small city with plenty of fun opportunities for you and your family. If your family includes a dog, a day-trip to Minneapolis is quick and easy. Get out and have a ball with Fido!

You’ll also want to bring some waste baggies to clean up after your dog.

This bark park is only an acre in size, but don’t let that stop you from bringing Fido to play; plenty of locals love bringing their dogs here.
