This pupular bark park has plenty of room for even the most energetic dogs to release all of their pent-up energy. There’s plenty of shaded seating for dog moms and dads to relax on. Parking is free and plentiful. While Fido might be too distracted to think about stopping, make sure you bring along water for him, as none is provided. You’ll also want to bring some waste baggies to clean up after your dog.

Holland

If you find yourself out and about with your dog and you want to grab a bite to eat, swing by Minneapolis’s Holland district. This neighborhood is home to Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room and Carma Coffee. Carma Coffee serves up delicious coffee and pastries, and your dog can join you at any patio table. Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room isn’t just a restaurant for you; they have a dog-friendly menu especially for your pup! It gives "Bone Appetit" a whole new meaning! Make sure you have a leash at both restaurants, as one is required for you to be on the patio.

Welcome Park

Sometimes, your dog just wants to enjoy the simple things in life, and that’s exactly what he can do at Bassett Creek Dog Park. This bark park is found in Crystal, about 20 minutes away from Shoreview. The fenced-in, off-leash dog park has plenty of room for Fido to run around and explore. It also gives him the opportunity to socialize and make some furrific new friends, which is crucial to the development of good manners. Water and waste baggies aren’t provided, so you’ll want to bring some along from home. You might be the one making new friends if you bring along a few extra!

About ten miles south of Shoreview, you and Fido can enjoy playing at Arlington Arkwright Dog Park! This bark park spans four-and-a-half acres, allowing your playful pooch to burn off all of his excess energy. While there are plenty of open areas in the park, there’s also a nature trail that winds through the woods, allowing you to get some exercise, too! It’s your responsibility to clean up after your pup, so please bring some waste bags from home. You’ll also want to bring some water; your pup is sure to get thirsty while having such a good time!

Franklin Terrace Park is home to Franklin Terrace Dog Park, an off-leash area where your dog can play with you and his pawesome new friends! This bark park is only an acre in size, but don’t let that stop you from bringing Fido to play; plenty of locals love bringing their dogs here. Franklin Terrace doesn’t provide water or waste bags, so you’ll want to grab some from home to bring along.
