Located within Lauderdale Community Park, this dog run includes one fenced-in area where dogs can play and meet other local dogs. If your dog gets thirsty, water is available in the park. After your pup is finished playing in the dog park, put their leash back on and take them for a walk on Lauderdale Community Park’s paved pathways. If you’re hungry, you can also take your pup for a picnic at the park’s shaded picnic pavilion. You and your dog will both have a great time exploring this furrific neighborhood park!

Northeast Minneapolis Arts District

Located four miles from Lauderdale, Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is a mixed residential and commercial area with lots to offer its furry residents and visitors. If you want to take a fun on-leash walk with your dog, head to Gluek Park. This park has a paved pathway that goes along the beautiful Mississippi River. If your dog gets thirsty while you’re walking, doggy water fountains are available in the park. After you’re finished with your walk, treat your dog to lunch at Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room. This restaurant allows dogs on their heated patio, and they have a three-course doggy menu that includes appetizers, entrees, and desserts for pups. For their human customers, they offer all-day breakfast, tasty pizzas, burgers, and more.

If you’re searching for a fun off-leash area for your dog, check out Meeker Island Dog Park. This dog park is about five miles from Lauderdale, and it’s located right on the Mississippi River. While you’re here, your pup can run, play, and meet other dogs. Or, they can go for swims in the river. The area is unfenced, so be sure to keep your dog under voice control while they’re in the dog park. Bring water and doggy bags, and have a pawesome time playing here! If you want to get a pick-me-up after the park, head to Coffee Bene. Sit at one of their dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy hot and cold coffee drinks and freshly baked pastries.

If you want to spend the day at the beach with your dog, White Bear Dog Beach is perfect for you. This beach is 14.5 miles from Lauderdale, and it welcomes dogs on-leash. While you’re here, you and your dog can go swimming together in White Bear Lake. You can also go for strolls along the shoreline, or you can simply relax on a blanket and enjoy views of the water.
