Brookdale Park
When spending time in the Brookdale Park neighborhood, your pup will love the Brookdale Park Off-leash Dog Park. The fenced in green grassy area offers plenty of room for your pooch to run and roam. There is a small pond in the park if your pup likes to swim, but you need to bring your own water bottles for drinking. Doggie waste bags are available, so be sure to clean up after your pup. As one of the furtastic destinations in town, Fido is sure to meet some new friends to play chase your tail or sniff the butt here.

Palmer Lake
The Palmer Lake neighborhood features the wonderful Palmer Lake Park. The paved Woodchip Trail here winds around the lake and through the marshes, and covers about three miles for a nice long trek. If you bring both your two and four-legged children to the park, the kids can run around the playground while Fido romps and rolls in the grass. When you are ready for lunch, Culver’s is a pooch-friendly restaurant where you can order a burger and some frozen custard while relaxing at the outdoor tables. Another feature of the neighborhood is the convenient Extended Stay America hotel where you can spend the night with two pets for an additional fee.

Birch Grove
Central Park is one of the key features of the Birch Grove neighborhood. Fido and his family can spend time at the park in both summer and winter, and there is even a warming house offered in the winter to get out of the cold. Pups enjoy walking along the paths while the kids climb on the playground. You can relax on a bench and watch a disc golf game, or eat a snack at one of the picnic tables. When hanging out in the Willowstone neighborhood, be sure to check out Willowstone Park. The park is not far from the Mississippi River, and features a playground and nature area where you can walk Fido along the trails. The picnic area is perfect for a weekend BBQ. If your pup likes the snow, you can take the kids sledding and your pooch can roll around in the winter wonderland. When you need a bite to eat, Sweet Taste of Italy is pup-friendly, and offers pet friendly outdoor tables when the weather is nice.

West River Road
Spending the day at the Environmental Area Off-Leash Dog Park in the West River Road neighborhood will be pawtastic for you and Fido. The park is located across from the Coon River Dam and is completely fenced, allowing your pooch a chance to run around and socialize with other pups off leash. There are large trees and shaded benches where owners can relax and watch their pups having a snifftastic time. There are no water spigots in the park, so you will need to bring your own water bottles. Be sure to bring doggie waste bags, so you can clean up after your pooch.
