Parkside
Exploring Pflugerville, you may find yourself in the southern part of the city with no clue where to stretch your legs with your lovely mutt. Luckily, this part of town includes the Parkside neighborhood, which is handy for dog owners! Hidden between other big neighborhoods, the majority of Parkside is occupied by a recreational area which includes a dog park and a pond! Feel free to explore the fenced Harris Ridge Park, where your mutt simply must be let off-leash to run and play with some new canine companions! You will meet an extremely friendly crowd here, many of whom visit daily and will welcome you to join them. Or, you can just exercise with your pup individually near the obstacle course.

The extensive Mills Pond Recreation Area is located at the very northern end of Austin and is bordered by other neighborhoods, including Vista Business to the east and Jackson Pond to the west. This tranquil, beautiful neighborhood welcomes you and your leashed pup to explore the area around Mill Pond, which offers convenient access to the water and shore. Search for a retreat at one of the picnic areas, or just enjoy a simple walk among the flourishing trees and nature. Keep in mind your pup will need to be on a leash here, since this isn't a designated dog park. Don't fur-get to bring your own water with you!

Round Rock just rocks! This delightful city is flourishing with places to eat, shop and visit. Round Rock’s downtown features two recreation areas, and one of them is where the pooches are the ones who make the rules! Round Rock Lake Depot is so much more than a dog-friendly place. Located near Lake Creek, the park features two separate areas for small and large breeds, an amazing set of agility equipment, and drinking water to keep your boisterous buddy hydrated. Tucked away among a number of small and medium-sized neighborhoods in the northern part of Austin, the park area is an alluring green oasis with plenty of outdoor activities and lots of fun! Your pooch will not get tired of exploring the miles of winding walking trails here, or running and romping with new friends in the dog park. This is a small, fenced area, so your pup can play and chase safely.
