About 12 miles from New Sweden, you and Fido can go visit Pflugerville's Harris Ridge Dog Park. There's agility equipment in both sections, which is pawfect for dogs who get bored easily. Waste bags are provided for easy clean-up, and there's also more than enough shaded areas where dog moms and dads can relax while their dog plays with new friends. This is an off-leash park, but once you leave the dog park, your pup must be on their leash.

Walnut Crossing

Does your dog love going for walks? Do they love exploring new places? If your pooch is like most dogs, head to Walnut Crossing's Balcones District Park! This public park is about 24 miles from New Sweden. Your dog can join you for a walk through the main areas of the park, past the pool and basketball courts. They can also join you, though, on any of the hiking trails that run throughout the park.
