Cedar Creek, Texas acquired its name from a tributary of the Colorado River that is named Cedar Creek. The first settlement was in 1832 when people started to populate the land on the Old San Antonio Road. Cedar Creek was the water source which passed through the area, making it a convenient spot to settle.

Today, this city is happy to welcome you and your furry friend. There is a nice pet-friendly campground here where you and your pooch can stay. Dogs are welcome at the Highway 71 RV Park as long as they stay on their leash. There is plenty of room for your pup to explore here, and it will be a fun adventure for the two of you!

There is also a reservoir in Cedar Creek that you and your pooch can visit called the Cedar Creek Reservoir. If you enjoy fishing, there are several types of fish that can be caught in this reservoir, including catfish, largemouth bass, bass, and crappie. This reservoir allows fishing all year round. You and your pooch can enjoy the calm atmosphere of the lake and it surroundings.

Other than that, Cedar Creek doesn't have many other dog-friendly amenities, but you'll find more just a short drive away in nearby cities.
