Hey hey! I’m Kaylee and I currently have three shih tzus - Toby 7, Spencer 4, & Axel 1. My family has also had pittbulls, so I’m comfortable with an array of breeds. They’re a huge light in my life, and I’m sure yours are too! I’m currently a nursing student and love to get outdoors. Any day I get a glimpse of a sweet pup is a great day, so this is a win win.

I love DOGS and I love walking so this is a great combo! I currently have 2 large 80lb dogs, one is a hyper Boxer and the other a chill Lab, so I have experience with both an enthusiastic and a docile dog. I believe in being AWARE of my surroundings and giving the dog my full attention. I believe in positive training and consistency is best for pets, as they need stability and they all get belly rubs.

“I let the dogs out.”

Thanks for checking me out! I grew up in a home with all sorts of creatures. Taking care of animals has always been a part of my life. You know the kid who would frequently bring home lost babies & go to Kinkos to print flyers to find the owners? That’s me! I live on horse-boarding property in my tiny-home where we will have plenty of room to roam in a large fenced area. I love to be around animals and would love to meet yours! -Brilla My general availability as a barista 11a-10p M - F Free S/S

Dog Walking in Lockhart

The saying "don't mess with Texas" applies to belly rubs and ample treats for the puppies who inhabit the lands of Lockhart, Texas. These Lone Star State dogs who live here are fans of two things. Texas doggos love the prairie lifestyle, but they also have a photogenic side. There are farms and ranches here, but Lockhart has also played host to tons of different movies. Films like What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Transformers IV were filmed in this fetching city. Lockhart is also the official Barbecue Capital of Texas. The Senate passed a resolution making this proclamation 18 years ago, and the "Bark-B-Q" is still finger-lickin' good!

Dog owners love living in Lockhart! There are 3 veterinarians, 6 groomers, and 2 city parks that can take care of all your dog's needs. There are even a few pet-friendly restaurants and markets that let Fido accompany you for a meal or grab a cut of your favorite ribs! Pet owners can also bring their dogs to the Lockhart Community Garden so their dogs can sniff out the flowers, plants, and botanicals being grown by the citizens of this Texas city. For some exercise, you and Fido can hike and explore Lockhart State Park, where you can find geocaches or go fishing.

Tails never stop wagging in this Texas city!

Does your dog just lose it when he smells good, authentic Texan barbecue? Well, Lockhart is the capital of Texas barbecue, and there are only four BBQ restaurants in the city. It just so happens that one in the Lockhart neighborhood is pet-friendly! At Black's Barbecue, you and your pooch can come for a plate of barbecue dishes that have been prepared by the same family since 1932! There are 9 different selections of meats to choose from, like pork spare ribs and barbecue chicken. Don't forget to throw Fido a bone after you're done eating! (But remember, fragile chicken bones can be very dangerous for your pup!)

Does your dog have a taste for Mexican food? If your dog is a little perro hambriento, then he'll love living in the Navarro neighborhood, where he can get his fill of authentic Mexican food. No Tex-Mex at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant! You and Fido can try Weslee Super Burritos, golden tacos, or a 10-oz ribeye steak. There's also chilli poblano rellenos and flautas! This just scratches the surface of amazing pet-friendly eats you can order at Guadalajara. After gorging on burritos, you can drive down to the Lockhart City Park for a nice stroll through the grass that'll help digest all the deliciousness.

Does your dog love community events, sunshine, and a chance to hike through it all? In the Landing neighborhood, which is smack dab in the middle of Lockhart, you can visit the Lockhart Community Park for all three! The park totals over 262 acres of hiking area with a 3-mile trail that winds around the perimeter of the park. Following the trail with Fido gives you breathtaking views of the Plum Fork Plum Creek River. The cost of admission is $3, but that's a small price to pay considering the views and the tail-wagging!

Old Lytton

Is your dog a die-hard barbecue fan that loves to lick the pit boss's fingers? Then the neighborhood of Old Lytton has a dog-friendly place for him! This Texas neighborhood has a spot called the Kreuz Market, which has been smoking and barbecuing since 1900! The BBQ  joint sells their goods in a German-meat market style and smokes their meat in 100-year-old brick pits. Your pup will be begging you for a bite of the BBQ beef, smoked sausage, BBQ pork, and smoked turkey. Don't forget to bring a bib! (And some water for your hungry hound.)

Is your dog a contemplative sniffer who "pawnders" the questions of life as he smells his way around the neighborhood? If your dog has a philosophical side, then he'll love living in the Meadows at Clearfork neighborhood. This neighborhood gives you quick access to the Lockhart Community Garden. This outdoor space has tubs for members to grow anything from green frilly lettuce to red bell peppers. There are also some gorgeous flowers growing the garden, too. Species of flora like Henry Duelberg, Lord Baltimore Hibiscus, and Turk's Cap will tantalize Fido's nose. This is a lovely place to visit with your perennial pup!
