Apple Springs

Devine Lake Park is as heavenly as the name implies. The park is not very large, but it has everything a dog can want, except water which you’ll have to provide yourself! The park is divided into two areas, one for people and one for dogs. You can take your leashed dog through the trails and down by the water, but it’s the fenced in, off leash portion of the park that he'll love the most! Devine Lake Park’s fenced in area is fairly small, but still large enough for off leash dogs to kick up their heels, romp, and have a blast!

Sweet Farms

Dining in good company is what really makes a meal, and most dog owners agree that there’s one dinner companion who never disappoints. If you want to bring your dog, look no further than Lone Star Grille & Bubba’s Backyard. This restaurant is as Southern as you can get in Leander. They have extensive outdoor tables, and provided the weather is nice, are happy to seat canine guests. Your dog can enjoy a good bowl of water while you look over a menu full of Southern favorites. The restaurant is popular and can be busy, but is a must-see if you’re going to be visiting the Sweet Farms neighborhood.

The food will be worth it, but the company really can’t be beat.
