Free pawrking is available on the street outside Barnegat Light beaches. Entrance to the beaches are fee-based with passes available in a variety of price points according to the number of times you hope to visit this pawsitively awesome spot. Daily beach badges can be purchased for as little as $5, while weekly passes cost $22, and a season's pass can be obtained for $40.Â
Although dogs are not permitted on any Barnegat Light beaches from April 15th through September 15th each year, your fave pooch can hit the open sand right by your side from September 16th through April 14th. You will need to bring drinking water and cleanup bags with you, and of course, Fido's leash!Â
Some of the most pawpular things to do at Barnegat Light beaches include hiking, biking, and jogging. Barnegat Light itself has a long history as a fishing village, so be sure to bring along your rod, reel, and some bait to try your hand at catching "the big one!"
