Though a stunning coastal spot, this beach receives few visitors largely because there are so few points from which people and their pooches can access the land. La Conchita Beach is also bordered by a highway; but never fear, there is a rock barrier to provide protection from traffic. But all of this is good news for beach-lovers! You get to enjoy a nearly private expanse of beach entirely free of charge. Best of all, Fido may frolic, romp, and play in the sand and in the surf to his heart's content as he is warmly welcomed at La Conchita Beach. Just to be sure to keep the local paw-lice happy, you should be sure to keep on leash Fido at all times. 

When visiting La Conchita Beach, you should take note that the area has been known to experience landslides, so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled for any signs of potential problems. The sandy shores of La Conchita Beach are pawsitively awesome for leisurely strolls or even a run with your best canine pal. While you're at it, why not search for a few shells or even some sea glass to take home as a souvenir? 

You can surf and swim in the clear waters of the ocean at La Conchita Beach as well. What could be more refreshing after a session of doggy paddling than a picnic on the shore? Be sure to pack a lunch which includes bottled water for Fido as there are no amenities at this beach. Don't forget some cleanup bags in your beach essentials kit as you will surely need them!
