The beach located right in front of the park is rather small and it is mostly made of rocks with a bit of sand. There is a rock protection barrier at the back of the beach. If you wander a bit up the beach, you will find a wide and sandy beach that is located north of Marina Park Beach, however, dogs are not allowed at this location.Â
Marina Beach still offers a beach for your dog to enter the water and have fun splashing and playing around in the water. You can swim in the water as well, take out a kayak, fish, run, bike surf, and paddleboard. The park features a play area for the kids, a picnic spot, BBQs, a walking path great for Fido, and restrooms. There are no showers near this beach. Â
You must always keep your dog on a leash at this park, on the beach, and while they are swimming in the water. There may or may not be poop bags available, so bring your own so you can pick up after your dog once they are finished going potty.Â
Overall, this is a good option for dogs who only need a small amount of beach to play on and prefer to spend most of their time in the water! It tends to be quieter than a large beach, making it a great option if your dog is timid, as well.Â
