Description

Perched on the Santa Clara River and surrounded by sublime mountains, the Acton/Los Angeles North KOA is a tranquil place to camp with your canine compadre. Within Soledad Canyon, the Acton/Los Angeles North KOA is just 45 miles from the heart of LA, meaning you'll have the perfect mix of Cali countryside and big-city living during your stay.

The Acton/Los Angeles North KOA affords all the amenities you'll need for a comfy camping experience, such as laundry facilities and a convenience store. RV campers will find sites with full hookups that provide pull-through and back-in access.

Scoob is welcome to camp as well; however, the KOA doesn't allow Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and Dobermans. You also can't bring doggos into any of the KOA's teepees or cabins. While generally peaceful, the campground is close to a MetroLink line, so reconsider if your woofer gets spooked easily.

One reason this KOA is so "pawpular" with pet parents is that it contains an onsite Kamp K9 dog park, where puppers can burn off some excess energy and meet fellow canine campers.

Pet parents will also have a ball at the Acton/Los Angeles North KOA, with dozens of on-site activities to keep you entertained during your downtime. Take a dip in the pool, play a game of horseshoes, or have a go at creating your own tie-dye.

If you fancy getting out and exploring, you'll have direct access to the Pacific Crest Trail, which leads up the imposing Mount Gleeson. It's unclear whether your pup can accompany you on this trail, so check with the camp or the local authorities before setting out.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
