Alpine Ridge Campground is situated on the DeGray Lake banks near the Quachita Mountains. The park has a natural setting thanks to the lake, which also attracts various visitors from around the country (and the world!) The site hosts a vast number of events that are just perfect for forgetting all of the stress in the city.
The space in the park is at the center, surrounded by the lake. There are numerous parking spaces for RVs near the lake, which you can clearly see on the campground website. The park and its lots are spacious enough to set up tents if you have any. The lake’s swimming area is only at the northern part. There are numerous shower rooms situated around the park’s camping sites and a playground is at the north of part of the campsite. Be sure to monitor your children at the swimming and playground areas for safety reasons. Rest assured that this place is child and pet-friendly.Â
The campsite is filled with a wide variety of plants and trees which makes the views breathtaking. It also has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake and its surrounding mountains. The lake is an excellent place for recreational activities during your stay at Alpine Ridge. You can ride on a boat, go fishing, or go kayaking. You can also do various water sports and even use the boat ramp. The wildlife in this park is only the game fish that you can catch at the lake. While most fish are hybrid striped bass, you may also find other types of fish swimming under the lake’s surface.Â
Dogs are welcome here at Alpine Ridge. The park only asks that you keep your pooch on a standard leash at all times, and please keep them out of the designated swim areas. As with all places, it is always important to clean up after your pupper, and to do this you should bring some poop bags with you wherever you go.Â
