Dam Site Lake Campground

Dam Site Lake Campground is located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is part of Beaver Lake where the campground is on part of the lakeshore. It is a large and popular campsite, especially in the warmer spring and summer months. 

You are surrounded by a vast lake that is 28,000-acres, so there is plenty to do in the water like swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports. You also have views of the stunning Ozark Mountains that are awesome hiking spots for you and your dog. The White River is nearby as well, and it is also perfect for fishing. You will find mountain biking trails in the nearby mountains. It is important to note that some of the surrounding areas are for hunting, so take caution in these areas. We recommend you keep your dog on a leash at all times so there are no accidents. 

The campground itself is spacious and open with tons of natural sunlight everywhere. There are no shady spots and most are in direct sunlight. As a camper, you will have access to the boat ramp, swimming, a dump station, drinking water, flushing toilets, grills for cookouts, a picnic area, playground for the kids, showers, and even a volleyball court. 

The peak season for this campground is April through October every year. You are allowed to bring your dog, but they should wear their leash at all times. Bring your own poop bags and clean up after your dog when they are done going to the bathroom. You can throw away the poop bags at the dump station on site. Always make sure your dog has plenty of water to drink and a cool place to lay in the shade so they don't overheat.
