There are plenty of amenities including laundry, a camp store, a fenced in-ground pool, and a picnic area. There is a playground, a space for horseshoes, and a walking trail that extends around the perimeter of the park. The park has plenty of trees offering shade and adding to the charm of the area. There is also a trolly stop.
Sites are available in three grades: Basic, with water and electricity; Standard, with water, electricity, and 30 Amp; and Premium, with water, electric, sewer, and 50 Amp. Premium tent sites include water and electric. There are primitive sites as well. This park also recycles. There is a two night minimum on weekends, holidays and when special events are happening in the area. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance of holidays or big events such as Bikes, Blues, and BBQ, and the War Eagle Craft Show. They will sell tickets to area attractions in their store. The hosts are described as friendly.
Pets are allowed at the campsites but not inside the rental units. Dogs must be on a leash when outside at the sites and when taking a walk. There are doggy poop bags provided throughout the park, so be a good neighbor and always clean up after your pet. Overall, this place sounds like a fun spot to "cook up some fun" with your Fido!
