Shadow Mountain RV Park

This campground is located in the shadows of the Ouachita Mountains located six miles south of Mena, Arizona. The area is known for wildlife and the scenery of nature as the seasons change. The campground has trees and provides shade in areas. Visitors can take a ride up Arkansas Highway 88, known as the Talmena Scenic Drive, and nearby Rich Mountain is known for its views. 

The campground welcomes guests who are there to ATV, horseback ride, or hunt. They are also biker-friendly. When you are at the campground, there are choices in accommodations. There are stays available for the tent camper, the RV camper, and those who just want to stay in a rustic cabin. There are large sites for tents, with water, restrooms, and shower stations near to the tent area. There are 64 sites for RV campers. The sites are gravel and pull-thru with full hook-ups for water, electricity, and a dump station. Picnic tables are on the sites. 

There are cabins for 2 persons and larger cabins for 4 people. They are rustic with no plumbing. Some cabins have a small refrigerator and microwave. Park amenities include laundry, playground, video rentals, and holiday activities. There are trails for ATVs and walking. The park is also near to a pond for fishing at the back of the park. Reviewers indicate that the park is family-friendly, and there is pool access. 

Pets are welcome at the campground. Always keep your dog on a leash when in the campground. Never leave your pet unattended - for the well-being of your pooch! Be a good camper and clean up after your doggo. A pet area is not provided but there are plenty of places to walk your dog. The park is well rated by visitors who enjoy the nature and described this as a quiet place for a stay.
