While camping offers the opportunity to appreciate the wildlife and nature, it is important to remember that the animals are attracted to food and garbage. Take the appropriate precautions to store food properly and to place your waste in the designated containers.
Dogs are allowed in the campground. They must be on a six-foot leash when not in your RV or tent. Do not forget to pack poop bags for the campsite and your outings. Be a good citizen and clean up after your dog. Never leave your dog unattended when camping. As a general rule, dogs are allowed wherever cars can go. As you prepare to venture onto the trails or to explore the area, make sure you check if there are trails that do not allow dogs. Keep your dog leashed and near to you. Enjoy the precious time together.
