Go further into the woods and pitch a tent for a secluded, forest appeal at a nightly rate of $25, or get back to nature in a rustic cabin with plenty of creature comforts. The setting is among the trees with a shaded deck overlooking a gorgeous lake. The cabin sleeps a family of four and comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a laundry area. There is no wifi, so you might want to leave your laptop at home and join in the weekend events, including yard sales, mid-year Christmas, spooky Halloween, and beginning of the season celebrations.
The hardworking hosts offer clean bathhouses, a laundry, and fun for the whole family on the basketball and volleyball courts. A covered picnic pavilion is ideal for clubs or family reunions, while the camp store is open to help with supplies and ice cream for the kids.
The family dog will be asked to stay on a leash and their owners will need to supply litter bags and pick up their waste. There may not be a fenced dog park here, but you'll find plenty of open and wooded areas for dogs to get busy sniffing the new territory.
