Bluff Mesa Group Camp

Bluff Mesa Group Campground is a popular campground in San Bernardino National Forest, which is located in southern California and spans over 800,000 acres. The campground is known for its scenic setting and for being located near many great outdoor activities. Another great benefit of the campground is that it is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along with you for an amazing camping adventure!

The campground is located 45 miles outside of San Bernardino, and it costs $132 per night to camp there (the cost is $142 on holidays). It can accommodate up to 42 people and 8 vehicles, and it is surrounded by majestic conifers. To enhance your camping experience, the site has campfire circles, grills, a picnic area, and tables. 

While the campsite is a great place to spend some quality time with your dog, you might want to venture out and explore some of the fun activities in the area. The nearby Big Bear Lake is a great place for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. You can also hike through the expansive San Bernardino National Forest — a number of trailheads can be found within walking distance of the camp, and hiking is a great way to see the diverse array of wildlife native to this region of southern California.

There are a few things you will want to consider in order to have the best possible camping experience. Remember that Bluff Mesa Group Campground does not offer drinking water, so you will have to bring your own. Also note that your dog will have to remain leashed at all times, and visitors must carry out all trash from the campsite. A California fire permit is required to use a propane stove at this campground.
