Description

Have you ever wondered what Minnesota has to offer? Come and see for yourself when you stay at Camp Faribo, a cozy little joint just outside of the city of Faribault. Here, you'll find the focus is on good times, taking it easy, and enjoying ol' fashioned family fun!

The grounds offer 71 campsites, accommodating RVs, trailers, and tents through the warmer months of the year. If you'd like, you can hook up to all of the comforts of home with electric, water, and sewer on offer, or embrace the great outdoors and hang out outside of the camper around a crackling campfire. Guests have access to a camp convenience store stocked with food, supplies, and all sorts of goodies, along with an on-site dump station for the convenience of trailers and motorhomes.

Anyone visiting you while you're here will have to pay a $5 entrance fee, so be sure to register them with the park's office upon arrival. Camping here starts at $30 a night for tenters and goes up all the way to $45 for a full-hookup lot. If you happen to book over a holiday, expect to pay an additional $5 a night. Rates for weekly, monthly, or seasonal stays are also available.

While you're here, be sure to check out the scheduled events that happen each weekend -- including chili cookoffs, hula-hooping contests, live music, and more! You have no excuse to be bored at Camp Faribo, because they offer basketball, volleyball, various lawn games, a kids' playground, a games room, and a pool. Within walking distance, you'll have access to great places to eat like Smoqehouse and El Tequila. When planning day trips, keep in mind that this facility is close to multiple museums, two different zoos, the Valleyfair Amusement Park, and Mystic Lake Casino.

Canine campers are welcome here, though there may be breed restrictions, so call ahead to ensure your pooch will be permitted on the property. Be a good pet parent during your stay by keeping your fur-baby from barking up a storm and always clean up after their bathroom breaks! As long as your four-legged friend stays on-leash and out of buildings, you're sure to have an excellent visit.
