Description

Cass Lake Loop Campground is an ideal spot for your next camping adventure in eastern Minnesota. It rests in the heart of Chippewa National Forest, and this amazing setting lets you immerse yourself in the beautiful northern wilderness and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. Guests note that the campground is almost as beautiful as its namesake lake -- almost. Cass Lake Loop is well-kept and has convenient access to the lake, and you can bring your dog along since the campground is pet-friendly!

Cass Lake Loop features 20 campsites for a nightly fee of $21. Each site can fit up to eight people and offers picnic tables, campfire rings, and tent pads. You can find other convenient amenities on the premises, including drinking water, accessible walkways, firewood, recycling, and trash collection. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, the on-site visitors' center will be happy to help.

There are lots of places to explore near the campground. Cass Lake is a great place to start because it is so close by and offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and water sports. You can also visit some of the area’s popular trails while you’re staying at Cass Lake. A pawesome dog-friendly trail near the campground is Migizi Trail, which begins on the south side of Cass Lake and provides you and your pooch with over 18 miles to explore! You can also head northwest to check out Lake Bemidji Trail. This easy loop trail spans just 1.5 miles with an elevation gain of 62 feet, making it pawfect for small dogs who don't need much exercise. You’ll also enjoy some furrific views of its namesake lake toward the south end of the loop.

Please make sure your woofer stays on-leash while you’re at the campground and on the trails. Also remember to clean up after your dog throughout your visit. The waterfront sites are the most pawpular, so if you're looking to camp lakeside, reserve your spot in advance to avoid disappointment.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
