Hot springs have traditionally been regarded as a place to visit for health and rejuvenation. This park is located at the hot springs and has the advantage of being located in proximity to many recreational, scenic, and entertainment destinations. The park covers 400 acres and includes a mile of water frontage on Lake Catherine. There is also a heated, saline pool. The grounds include a playground, fitness center, gift shop, convenience store, nature trails, and boat rental. There is even a zip line. Premium coffee, beer, and wine are sold on the property. Accommodations include tents, RVs, cottages, and yurts. Tent sites are level and include a pad, table, fire pit, wifi, and grill. Water is easily accessible. The tents are close to the restrooms. RV sites are paved and include 30 amp and 50 amp service. They do allow a small tent at the RV site. Full hook-ups are included with the RV sites as well as the amenities of a grill, table, and fire pit.
Cottages that sleep 2 to 4 people are available for rent. The cottages have bathrooms and television, air conditioning and heat. The yurts have wooden floors, windows, climate control, and beds with fresh linens. They do not have a kitchen or a bathroom. There is a skylight at the peak of the structure, giving you views of the sparkling night sky. The park is highly rated by visitors.
This is a pet-friendly place to vacation. Pets are allowed at all campsites. There are designated cottages and yurts for pets. Fees for these rentals include a nonrefundable cleaning fee of $35 for 1 to 4 nights or $65 for 7 or more nights plus a refundable security deposit of $150. Your pet must be in a crate if you leave your pet in the cottage or yurt. If you do not have a crate, one may be rented, if available. You are required to bring the supplies you need to clean up after your pet.
