Cullman Campground

The Cullman Campground is the perfect getaway for those who wish to get some well-deserved rest from their busy daily routine. The campground is placed in a scenic country setting and generous spacing between camping sites make it a favorite of many who just want some peace and quiet. There are 75 campsites available that are very level and can hold big rigs up to 75 feet in length. The sites are full-hookup, and most of them are pull through, so there are no worries about backing up into a site. There are some scattered tree patches throughout the campground, so some sites have more shade than others. If this is a requirement for you, it’s better to call ahead.

The campsite welcomes late arrivals and will often answer any calls after hours to help campers find their way. The roads leading to the campsite are somewhat narrow, but the signs are very good, so you can’t get lost on your way there. The staff is very friendly and will make sure your stay there is as pleasant as possible.

Those who stay at Cullman Campground can enjoy fishing in the pond, relaxing at the pavilion or playing golf on the nearby course. It’s a family-friendly site and has a playground where the little ones can play and learn some old fashioned games like horseshoes. Around the pond, you will find horses and donkeys, and some ducks and geese too.

It’s a pet friendly location, so you can bring your dog along. Since this campground is off the main road and very quiet, your canine buddy should be on their best behavior so that everyone can sleep and when walking around the campground, make sure your dog is leashed to not disturb the horses and donkeys or chase waterfowl. As always, clean up after your dog so that the area is spotless for the next camper who arrives here.
