Peach Queen Campground
The campground boasts the last stainless steel swimming pool built in the U.S.A. This pool will accommodate up to 75 people and is open from May to September. There is a private fishing lake on this property. Other amenities include laundry facilities, a playground for small children, a large pavilion, and pull-through sites.
There is a store that has a sitting area that includes a fireplace and a large screen television. Guests are welcome to use the microwave and to enjoy a complimentary coffee in this area. Movies and books are available for check out. The store also sells drinks, propane, snacks, and ice. There is a fax machine for a small fee. There are 54 pull-through sites, all with electricity. The campground is flat. There are some shaded areas near the lake. Visitors report that the staff is friendly and helpful. There are attractions nearby, as well.
The campground is very dog-friendly! Not only is Fido allowed, but the campground has a fenced play area for dogs. As with any dog park or play area, it will be important for the owners to be cognizant of the interactions in the dog area when entering with your pet. Do not take pups into dog parks or play areas until they have had all of their vaccinations. Be a polite neighbor and clean up after your pet. When you are out and about on the campground and in your site, it is a wise practice to keep your dog on a leash.
