Description

Horseshoe Bend lays among the beautiful shores at Beaver Lake. This excellent park has been in business for 53 years. The park offers a spacious natural setting with views, a relaxing campsite, as well as a vast number of activities to enjoy. It’s the perfect park if you love to do many fun activities whenever you camp or park here.

The site is open through October 30th, and opens again on April 1st, as the park has seasonal opening dates. You can check in with the camp host once you arrive at the park. It’s also strongly advised to purchase local firewood to burn on the campgrounds.

You can park RVs at the beach area's parking lots at the eastern side of the park, with shower rooms nearby. There is a specified area for swimming; be sure to monitor your children when you visit this area. Children can also play at the park’s playground.

On the other side, there’s also a vast variety of trees and flowers at the center and western parts of the park. You can explore the whole park to discover some natural caves for those who dare explore it. You can also view fantastic limestone bluffs around the park as well. Tents can be set up everywhere in the park. Wildlife is also present in this area. There’s a beautiful array of animals in the wilderness such as deer, squirrels, and rabbits. These are also considered to be game at the park, making Horseshoe Bend a hunting spot, but in designated areas only.

The park is child and pet-friendly. Horseshoe Bend also holds events due to the abundance of shade and vast space, along with extra amenities such as food and drinks. The lakeshore has a breathtaking view to be seen. You can participate in lots of recreational activities here besides hunting and eating; you can also go water skiing, scuba diving, picnicking, and even join games if the park hosts any.

The various things that you can do in Horseshoe Bend are the reason why you should consider this on your list of destinations in Arkansas. The park is excellent regarding overall ambiance and service, plus they hold a lot of recreational activities - which is one of the reasons why they have been successful for the last 53 years!
