Indian Creek Campground

The Indian Creek Campground is located in Northwest Arkansas on the massive shoreline of Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains. The lake and dam offer 449 miles of beautiful shoreline. The site offers numerous roomy and sunny campsites with plenty of recreational activities. It is a dog-friendly retreat, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with a canine in their family.

You will be awed by natural beauties such as towering limestone bluffs and natural caves. You also get to feast your eyes on a variety of trees and flowering shrubs that surround the campground. While the Beaver Lake and Dam was created for flood control and power generation, it has created a popular recreational hub.

There are many fishing opportunities near the Indian Creek Campground. The 28,000 surface acres of water encourage numerous anglers to catch white bass, spoon-bill catfish, crappie, among other game. The campground is also a great place for hunters. The hardwood and evergreen forests, just a short drive from the lake, offer plenty of deer, squirrels, and rabbits.

You will also find several trails across the Ozark Mountains. From peaceful hiking to biking to wildlife viewing, there’s a lot you can do here. Other recreational activities include boating, picnicking, swimming, spelunking, water skiing, and scuba diving. A volleyball court is also available.

The large campsites at the Indian Creek Campground have plenty of shade and space for numerous activities, just steps from the lake shore. Some campsites can be reserved via www.recreation.gov, while others are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. However you reach here and whichever activities you enjoy, make sure to clean up after yourself and your dog!
