Lead Hill

If you are looking for a simple, yet efficient campsite that can give you plenty of space to relax, the Lead Hill Campgrounds is a great place to go to. Located on the border of Missouri and Arkansas, this scenic location is brilliant for campers who want to have a good time in the midst of a crystal blue lake and vast, luscious landscapes. 

One of the most popular activities that take place on the Lead Hill Campgrounds are the enjoyable fishing competitions. The camp has a lot of events going on around the year and many of these events have open participation, so are great for people looking for a little bit of fun. These are mainly because the water bodies here are known for being full of bass and other kinds of large, scrumptious fish. 

The Lead Hill campsite is also incredibly well-equipped and has seventy-five different individual campsites that have cooling shades, picnic tables, and a number of other facilities. The campground is great for larger groups as well, since it has larger sites that are connected to each other. The Lead Hill campsite also sports a wonderful playground area that children can play in while on the campgrounds. 

For those who want to get a better look at the surrounding areas, there are a number of boating cruises available that take campers around the crystal blue lake. 

Pets are allowed at this site, and it is a good idea to bring a leash along to keep your pup close at all times. You will also want to bring your own poop bags with you to keep things clean for everyone else at the facility. It is also important to note that the site is not ideal to visit during peak summer and peak wintertime since the area experiences harsh climates and temperatures during these seasons.
