Description

If you and your doggo are looking for an Ozark getaway, Lost Bridge South Campground might just be the pawfect place for you two to pitch your tent! Sat on the shoreline of beautiful Beaver Lake, this campground is ideal for those who want to stay in the great outdoors without sacrificing creature comforts -- the campground has access to electricity and water hookups, flush toilets, showers, and even a playground to keep two-legged family members entertained. You’ll also find a few marinas located around the lake, most of which have access to grocery stores, so there’s no need to waste precious luggage space on food. The campground is understandably popular in the high season, so it’s best to make your reservation early.

Mod cons aren’t all that Lost Bridge South has to offer -- it’s also in a spectacularly scenic location. The campground is surrounded by stately, mature trees and blooming bushes, and you don’t need to think that geology rocks to appreciate the striking beauty of the area’s limestone bluffs. Hound dog hikers will find a trail to suit every age and ability, from a thirty-minute walking path around Lost Bridge South Park to more challenging routes leading into the Ozark Mountains. Beaver Lake is something of a favorite of local anglers, as it’s one of the best places to catch striped bass in the entire state.

Lost Bridge South has one other big advantage over other sites -- the campground provides free wifi, and cellular coverage for most networks ranges from fair to good, making this an ideal spot for those who need to stay in constant contact, or even those who just can’t wait to share those vacation snapshots! Campfires are permitted, and drinking water is available on-site. Remember to bring waste bags for your buddy, and have a furrific trip!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
