The Notrebes Bend Park is located right on the Arkansas River. This park is located close to Merrisach Lake and the Arkansas Post Canal. This park asks that pooches be kept on-leash for their stay, and that those with paws stay away from the designated swim areas. It's also always a good idea to have poop bags with you to clean up any messes that may happen. Reservations should be made from 6 months to three days ahead of your arrival date. There are 30 campsites in total for this park, offering electrical hookups and freshwater supplies. The park has shower areas near the lake, as well as a place for throwing trash away for an eco-friendly solution. The shower rooms are just near the swimming, boating, and fishing areas of the Arkansas River, which is located at the West of this park. The campsite also offers a full, breathtaking view of the river.
