Oso Group Campground is located in southern California’s San Bernardino National Forest. The campground features a single group site that can accommodate up to 100 people and about 20 vehicles. The nightly fee for the site is $440, and there is an additional $10 charge on holidays. The surrounding pine forest provides the tent pads with plentiful shade, but the group areas are exposed to some sunlight. There are also great amenities at the campground that improve the quality of your stay. You can find long picnic tables, and campfire circles with grills, drinking water, and more.
Outdoor activities are a great way to experience all that San Bernardino National Forest has to offer. The Santa Ana River Trail passes by the campground, and it is a great spot for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Another superb trail near the campground is the Rio Monte Trail. If you’re interested in fishing or non-motorized boating, then you can head to Jenks Lake — it is stocked with a variety of trout and also has largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, and catfish.
Please note that while RVs are allowed at the campground, there are no utility hookups for them. Dogs must remain leashed at all times at Oso Group Campground. This campground is in an active bear zone, so make sure you take the proper bear safety precautions.
