Service Campground sits on the eastern shores of the massive Coffeeville Lake, a 97-mile body of water that regularly hosts watersports throughout the summertime.
Thirty-two total sites are available at Service, all of which come standard with both water and electric hookups in addition to the standard amenities like a fire ring and picnic table. Grilling equipment can be rented for free at Service's main offices and dropped right into any of the sites' fire rings. All of Service's campsites are located either close to or directly on the waters of Coffeeville Lake, giving overnight visitors some great shoreline views every morning. Also found inside the grounds are public shower facilities, flush toilets, and coin-operated washers and dryers. Dogs are welcome to accompany overnight guests as long as they're kept restrained and are respectful to other campers.
Fishing is a favorite pastime here, with anglers regularly being seen both on the shore as well as on the water. Several different species can be found in Coffeeville Lake, including crappie, bream, and catfish among others. Be sure to come with all necessary fishing equipment, as this region doesn't host any sort of rental services. If you've got your canine companion in tow, make sure they're on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length during your stay.
For visitors who'd like to hit the waves, there's a concrete boat ramp free for overnight guests. Coffeeville Lake hosts all manner of water vessel save for gasoline-powered speedboats and the like. If you're bringing your boat along, make sure you've got current state registration displayed to avoid any issues while you're out on the water. Canines are free to accompany guests with boats, provided visitors exercise caution and keep their animals safe during their stay.
Service also offers a children's play area that's open during daytime operating hours. Visitors are asked to keep their pets away from this structure, as well as any other indoor structures located within the campgrounds.
