Stoney Point Resort RV Park & Campground is a large, full-service campground and RV park in Cass Lake, Minnesota. The amenity-laden oasis is sandwiched between the Pike Bay and Cass Lake and sits among a lush mixed-conifer forest that provides ample shade. In addition to tent and RV sites, visitors can choose from nine cabins and a condominium that can accommodate up to 12 people. The campground provides easy access to the Cass Lake, making it the perfect spot for those that not only want to hike and explore during their camping trip but also to swim and relax by the beach with their family. Â
The dog-friendly campground is very well-maintained and offers countless facilities for patrons to enjoy. The campground has an indoor pool, a sandy beach with a designated swimming area, and a 2,000-foot boat canal with pontoon, aqua bikes, and kayak rentals available on-site. If that wasn’t enough, there is a family-style restaurant at the campground, as well as a convenience store, playgrounds and picnic shelters. Whether you are visiting with your friends or family, you are guaranteed to have a great time even without leaving the camp’s grounds. More importantly, your fur-ball will have a blast, too, as the campground features a designated dog walking path and plenty of nature trails for sniffing and marking.Â
The ADA-accessible campground has over 400 tent and RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer connections available. Lots of the campsites have lakeside views or sit by the canal while others are nestled away in cozy, wooded areas. For bigger rigs, the campground offers pull-through sites which provide plenty of space and privacy. Both tent and RV sites come with campfire rings and picnic tables. The campground is equipped with clean restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, as well as a dump station.Â
Patrons can also rent out modern cabins that feature full kitchens, air conditioning, electric heat, and even linens. The lakefront cabins offer spectacular water views, so you and your small canine companion can relax on a lawn chair on the deck or enjoy grilling some hot dogs while watching the sun melt into the water in the distance. Tent sites start at $36 per night while cabins start at $110. There is a $3 fee per extra person or pet at campsites and a $15 fee for an additional person or pet in the cabins. Â
