The Cove Lakeside RV Resort and Campground

Cove Lakeside RV resort and campground is one of the newer campgrounds, but it is already a favorite of many. The campground is very well laid out and can easily host the biggest of rigs. The staff is always available, friendly, and very helpful with any inquiry you might have - and they even accept credit cards and offer military and Good Sam discounts.  

The campsites are even, clean, and have complete hookups. There are 60 total places available and each can host RVs and trailers up to 70 feet long. Some sites are pull through while others are back-ins. For those who wish to barbeque, there are fire pits available as well as picnic tables on each campsite. The camp has their own store and even offers laundry rooms so you can get all the home comforts. The campsites are in an open area, and since there are no nearby trees, there are no shaded areas available. 

The nearby lake is perfect for canoeing and paddling, as well as fishing, and fishing gear and bait is available on the pier for those who forgot theirs or those who wish to try their luck for the first time. The campsite has some of the best amenities around – from new, high-quality showers and restrooms to picnic pavilions, a children’s playground, and even a pool and toddler pool. There are free Wi-Fi and DirecTV too. Those who wish to get away from tech for a while will enjoy the nature trails around the site.

It’s also pet-friendly, so you’re welcome to bring your doggo with you. There are some restrictions in place when it comes to the number of pets per campsite, as well as certain breeds, so it’s best to call ahead to be sure your dog can come with you. When there, make sure your dog is always behaving and always pick up after them to help keep the campsite clean.
