The Woods RV Park & Campground

Just off I-65, close to the I-85 interchange, The Woods RV Park & Campground is a dog-friendly campground in Montgomery. With a convenient location, reasonable price, and plenty of space for your dog to walk, The Woods is a good place to visit with Fido.

You get clear views of the sky from all sites. The campground is only a few minutes from numerous historic sites. You get a range of campground facilities in the cleanest environments you will find. You will love how you can enjoy modern technology while being in touch with nature here.

The friendly and helpful office staff will make your stay a comfortable one. While there is no dog park, you will have plenty of space to walk your doggo. Remember to bring waste bags to pick up and clean up after your dog. The place is surrounded by fast food restaurants and is near the highway. The bathrooms are very clean and the bathhouse has big showers with locking doors.

While close to the highway, the noise is not too bad. There is a small pond/lake at the back where you may see Canadian Geese and chicks swimming around. The spotless park has good-sized (albeit close) RV sites with long, pull-through with full hookups. The sites are gravel, which is considered even and uneven by different people. WiFi is also available. There is also a stage for entertainment; check the campground site to see upcoming events.

Although not a destination RV park, it is a well-maintained place, ideal for an overnight or short stay. If you have been thinking about making such a trip with your dog, The Woods RV Park & Campground is an excellent option. All in all, it is an excellent place to relax and enjoy with your canine family member.
