Wagner Park Campground

Wagner Park Campground is a full-service campground situated near Whiskey Creek, under two miles from Barnesville, Minnesota. The cozy campground is easily accessible from Highway 34, making it an excellent location for both overnight stays as well as longer visits. Best of all, leashed pets are welcome to join their owners for the outdoor adventures at Wagner Park!

The no-frills campground consists of 50 primitive tent sites and 28 full-service campsites that have water, electric, and sewer connections. The tent sites are $12 per night while the RV sites start at $25 per night. Although there is wifi at the campground, it is not included in the price. The pull-through sites are spacious and filled with greenery that provides enough privacy between sites. The sites are grassy and mostly level. The campground has a few sites that operate on a first-come-first-served basis, as well as some that can be reserved in advance online. 

There are restrooms, coin-operated showers, drinking water, and a dump station at the campground. This enables visitors to enjoy wilderness camping without sacrificing any creature comforts. With lots of well-groomed walking paths nearby, campers can easily walk their dogs without worrying about disturbing other guests -- just make sure to pack plenty of dog waste bags and clean up after your four-legged friend!

Just across Whiskey Creek, patrons will discover the scenic Blue Eagle Park and swimming lake. With a sandy beach, modern restrooms, boat rentals, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and a fishing pier, visitors truly have everything they need to have a great day outdoors with their family or friends. If that wasn’t enough, the nine-hole Willow Creek Municipal Golf Course is another destination worth checking out, especially since it is one of the most popular and well-maintained golf courses in the county.
