Description

Yogi On The Lake is a premium holiday spot where you can pitch a tent or roll up with your motorhome and get connected to electricity (30/50 amp), water, sewer, and Wi-Fi. The fabulous resort theme is of course based on the popular Yogi Bear TV show that so many grew up watching in the early 60s. This cartoon legend inspired the top-rated Jellystone Park that sits by Lake Pelahatchie as a Mississipi hidden gem.

The park is super kid-friendly with planned activities from March through to October including Yogi Bear Race Weekend, Pirates and Mermaids, plus Super-Hero Weekend, and so much more. The park has the coolest children's playground and an amazing water zone where kids can cool off in the summer sun. There’s also plenty of fun to be had on the lake with paddle boating kayaking and fishing. Several covered pavilions are available for clubs and family gatherings.

RVers can look forward to a site off or on the lake with gravel/paved pads and glorious water views through the entire summer season. You can request a back-in or pull-thru site that’s partially shaded and expect a personal escort to help you set up.

If you want to know how the pioneers lived back in the day, book into one of their log cabins nestled in old pine trees with a workable kitchen, bathroom, TV, and back deck that offers peaceful times overlooking the lake.

Restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are well-kept and modern with a camp store that has a ton of supplies, souvenirs, and is close by the Cartoon Café where you can fill up on snacks and be energized for a day playing tennis, mini-golf, or volleyball.

No need to leave your furry friends behind as Yogi On The Lake invites campers to bring them along. The park rules ask that all dogs be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length and be constantly supervised. Its expected all dog guardians pick up their woofer's waste and due to health regulations, pooches are not allowed in the pool, playground, or most buildings. Some of the cabins are pet-friendly, so it pays to check when you are making a booking.

The friendly hosts have a few golden trophies on their mantle for providing a first-rate campground only 2 miles from the town of Pelahatchie and just under 30 miles to the city of Jackson.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
