Avon-Washington Township Paw Park

Avon-Washington Township Paw Park is an off-leash park that has separate areas for small and large dogs. There is plenty of room for your dog to run around and play with other dogs. The open space allows dogs to play along with each other or play a good game of fetch with their pet parent. There is a covered pavilion located in the dog park that provides shade. 

The hiking trails in the park also welcome dogs as long as they are on a leash and are friendly with other hikers. Bring along fresh water and a portable bowl for your dog to keep him hydrated. The dog park is clean and fenced in which helps keep your dog safe. 

Bring along your poop bags and a disposable trash bag to clean up after your dog. There’s a $50 annual fee to bring your dog to this park. You also need to provide current vaccination documents at the time of registration. Pet parents are encouraged to keep their dogs at home if they are sick or still in the recovery process of an injury or illness. It is for the safety of your dog and all the dogs that visit the dog park. 

Dogs mostly play in harmony with each other since there is plenty of open space here at Avon-Washington Township Paw Park. However, if your dog is involved in a fight or shows and receives aggression, it is best to remove your dog from the park and return later or on another day. 

Pet parents are responsible for their dog while at the park. All dogs should be kept on a leash until safely located inside the dog park. Then you can take them off their leash and let them run free. Overall, this dog park is clean, spacious, well cared for, and welcoming to dogs and pet parents. Make sure you register your dog first before visiting the dog park.
