Bewabic State Park

The Bewabic State Park is an area of natural beauty near Crystal Falls in Michigan which is a fantastic place to go camping and spend time outdoors. The park, which covers over three hundred and fifteen acres, incorporates Fortune Lake and its beach, extensive forest areas and a one hundred and thirty spot campsite as well as tennis courts. 

There are notable Civilian Conservation Corps, or CCC, historical sites within the state park boundaries which include several buildings and a bridge. The Bewabic State Park attracts visitors all year round for the various array of fun and exciting activities it has on offer.

For lovers of water sports, there's the chance to enjoy paddle sports such as canoeing, kayaking or boating. There's some good fish in the lake which will give any wily fisherman a run for his money. ATV's and ORV's can legally let the throttle rip here too. 

When there's snow on the ground, the park converts to a ski resort with cross country and snowboarding at the top of the agenda. Visitors to the park are required to pay an entrance fee or Michigan resident vehicle passport, which equates to $11 if purchased when a resident makes their license plate renewal through the Secretary of State. 

If a resident visitor wishes, they can also pay at the park entrance where the annual charge is increased to $16. For a motorcycle resident vehicle pass the fees are $6 and $11 respectively. Non-residents of Michigan may purchase a daily pass for $9 or an annual one at the cost of $32. 

There are various charges applicable for camping overnight which range from $15 for an off-season non-electrical spot to $53 for an in-season one with power supply. Dogs accompanying their pet parent to the park are welcome as long as they remain on a leash. The Bewabic State Park does not have an off-leash dog park or designated area for the off-leash exercising of dogs.
