Owosso Bark Park contains benches in well-shaded areas to allow owners a restful vantage point from which to observe their dogs enjoying the dog runs. It is unknown if water is provided on site. For this reason, owners are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and a suitable drinking vessel to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his time at the park.
Though it is not known if complimentary poop bags are provided on-site, it is mandatory that all owners carry some with them to assist them with the proper picking up and disposal of all canine waste materials. There are no posted regulations regarding park use; however, it is recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear the appropriate required state license tag.
Gerald E. Collamer Park itself is home to a number of nature trails suitable for hiking and reconnecting with the land. While dogs are welcome in all areas of this family-centric park, they are required to be leashed when not enjoying the off leash play areas in Owosso Bark Park.
This dedicated dog play haven is accessible to the public free of charge and is open from dawn to dusk year round. It is unknown if public use bathrooms are available on the premises. For a great place to burn off some steam while enjoying a pristine natural setting, take a trip to Owosso Bark Park!
