Pet Supplies Plus Dog Park (at Hillcrest Park)

Hillcrest Dog Park, formerly known as Pet Supplies Plus Dog Park after the benefactor who built the space, is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This dedicated dog play facility is situated on one acre of land and boasts of two fenced enclosures suitable for off-leash dog play. One of the two play areas is reserved for use by small dogs only. Though this park offers designated off-leash play zones, it is recommended that owners carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency. 

Access to this beloved dog space is free of charge to the public. Fresh water is available on the premises to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his fun day at the park. It is unknown if there are public bathroom facilities on site. It is also not known if complimentary poop bags are available at this doggy play haven. However, park officials do require that all owners carry bags with to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste promptly. 

Benches are strewn throughout the property to afford owners the opportunity to recline and relax while supervising their dogs at play. The seating is comfortable and also conducive as a spot to enjoy a light snack or picnic lunch in a well-shaded corner of the park. Though no set regulations are posted governing the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. It is also advisable that all dogs bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars.

Visitors to this great play space note that there are lots of tennis balls on the property for dogs who love to play fetch.
