Birmingham Dog Park is a paid dog park located at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course in Birmingham, Michigan. The members-only, nine-hole golf course is spread across 57 acres of rolling terrain and features a clubhouse, golf cars, snack bar services and golfing lessons.
The park was opened in 2010, and despite its relatively small size, it has since become a favorite among members who own dogs and live in the area. It can be found on the southeast edge of the golf course. It is securely fenced and offers almost an acre of space for dogs to socialize and exercise in without a leash.Â
This dog park is equipped with dog waste bag dispensers and strategically placed waste receptacles that help keep the dog park well-maintained and clean. There are a few benches at the dog park that enable owners to supervise their dogs during their visit and make sure they remain well-behaved during playtime.Â
Birmingham Dog Park’s layout consists of a grassy, open space area that dogs love sniffing, exploring and running on. However, playtime gets muddy after rainfall so make sure to pack a towel for your dog’s paws just in case there is a puddle or two.
The annual membership fee is $50 for residents and $200 for non-residents. If you are visiting or considering purchasing membership access but have doubts, feel free to check the park out by getting a $20 trial membership that gives you access to the dog park for a week.Â
If you enjoy your time at the park with your canine companion, you only have to pay the difference for the yearly membership access. If you end up visiting this great location, please make sure to clean up after your dog and make sure your pooch stays on its leash in other parts of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course.
