The turf is grass, and it stays green and cut regularly. There are no large areas where traffic has worn it down, and the dirt and soil exposure is minimal. The grass will help to keep your canine clean when they visit the park and provide good aesthetics. Several trees are placed throughout the dog park; they are large enough to produce a decent amount of shade for the patrons of the park.
A large mural sits on one of the fences depicting a dog seemingly running and playing in a grassy field. All of this leads to the dog park being much loved. This park is also lit so you and your canine can come here in the evening. There is a water fountain here to provide water to the patrons of the dog park. The fountain has two water dispensers, one into a bowl near the ground and another for humans at roughly waist height.
There is plenty of room here for games like fetch or frisbee, the tall fence is wooden planks with no gaps in between and would retain any balls or canines that bounce against it. This park is head and shoulders above your average dog park and well worth the annual membership for residents of the area and those who are willing to drive a reasonable distance to find a dog park of true cleanliness and quality.
