Canine Country Club - Valparaiso

The Canine Country Club, also known as Royal Acres, is a private off-leash dog park. A membership fee is required to visit this park. The general daily fee is $5, or you can choose to purchase an annual pass for $120. This quaint dog park has a designated area for small and large dogs. 

The park also has a gazebo, benches and a porch for pet owners to relax while they watch their dogs play. There are also trees at the park that provide a minimal amount of shade during the summer months. The dog park has water and a community bowl available for the dogs. 

Owners can choose to allow your dog to drink from the bowl or bring along a private bowl for your dog only. Just make sure you give your dogs water their own bowl while they are away from the other dogs at the park. This spacious park is perfect for pet parents to play a game of fetch with their dog. 

Don't forget to bring along a ball or toy to participate in the fun with your dog. Dogs visiting the park on the same day are usually happy to join in the fun and play along. Dogs that are possessive of their toys should play alone until they feel comfortable sharing with others. 

Aggressive dogs can cause injury or damage and need to be leashed and removed from the Canine Country Club immediately by their owner. Pet parents need to take responsibility for their dog’s behavior and any injury or damage done to others by their dog. 

Pet owners can quickly clean up after your dog by using the available plastic poop bags from the pet waste station located at the dog park. However, you should always bring along your own supply just in case the park runs out. Also, make sure your dogs have vaccinations and a license to register at this dog park.
