Capik Nature Preserve Dog Park

New Jersey is considered the 'Garden State’ for its wide array of produce farming such as tomatoes, corn, and other vegetation. The City of Sayreville, New Jersey can be considered even more so part of that ‘Garden State’ theme with all of its parks, outdoor activities, and the Capik Nature Preserve. This dog-friendly town has a wonderful retreat for dogs built right into the preserve. The Capik Nature Preserve is an outdoor haven for dogs and their owners.

The Capik Nature Preserve Dog Park is over 500 hundred acres of trails, forestry, lakes, and wide open spaces. The park is often used for biking, horseback riding, hiking and dog-friendly activities. The dog park within the Capik Nature Preserve located next to the horseback riding area is a fenced-in, off-leash area with an area for small and large dogs. 

Dogs can freely roam in the fenced in areas off-leash. There are restrooms and trash receptacles within the preserve. The dog park area is not an overly large size area, but it is clean, well maintain and has plenty of fresh water for your pup. If you want to venture outside of the fenced-in dog area your dog should be on-leash at all times. You and pup can enjoy the many trails that park has to offer. 

Just be respectful of the Capik Nature Preserve Dog Park and clean up after yourself and your beloved pet. It takes a community to keep parks such as this maintained for everyone’s use. Your dog should be properly licensed and up to date on all vaccinations when visiting the Capik Nature Preserve Dog Park. 

Also, owners are asked to keep a close eye on their dogs, and not to bring aggressive dogs into the park. All in all, the Capik Nature Preserve Dog Park is a dog-friendly preserve that both you and your pooch are sure to love.
