Connolly Dog Park

Connolly Dog Park allows you to come with your canine and take them off-leash. This dog park has many amenities available for your canine. It is a rectangular fenced area at the bottom of a hill with adjacent paths for walkers, runners, and bikers.

The fenced area is also broken into two sections, one for dogs 25 lbs or less, the other for canines of any size. Both sections also feature water fountains, dog bag stations, and wastebaskets for disposal. You can also find walking trails adjacent to the dog run, all of which you can bring your canine on provided they stay on a leash. 

The greater area of the park is going to have a lot more space to offer, but overall, this is not of great size either. At least through these areas, you can walk a good distance with your canine, or get a good run in to wear them out. There is shade provided by some trees on one side of the dog run as well as bench seating covered by shade.

If you are a visitor to the area a resident of the area nearby and looking for a place to take your dog, this is not a bad option. There is space to walk and your canine can run a decent bit within the fenced area. The fences are high enough to stop even the strongest jumpers from getting beyond them, so even canines that like to run away will not be able to get far and there is enough space to run off-leash.

Inside the dog run is enough space to socialize, however for games that would require a good deal of space to play like Frisbee or fetch, you may find the space to be rather limiting. Overall, if you are in the city here and you want to play with your canine at a nearby park, this is going to be your best option.
