Clinton Township Dog Park

The Clinton Township Dog Park is considered a treasured park in the community. At the gate, a large wooden arch with the parks name painted across it welcomes the visitors to the park. This park does require a pass to use. You can acquire the pass for this park by submitting a completed application online, which requires proof of vaccination and a small fee. 

You can also finish this same information with the government parks and recreations office, located nearby. The price is very minimal and comes out to $12 per year. This fee is waived for residents of the Clinton Township. The fee applies to non-residents or residents of surrounding areas only. 

The total size of the Clinton Township Dog Park comes out to about an acre and a half. The entire space is grass and stays very well maintained. The fence divides the park into separate sections for small and large dogs as well as keep in the dogs that like to run the most. 

It is grass and stays a good length and beautiful green during the spring and summer months. There is enough space to run around and you will often find tennis balls strewn about. There are some trees high enough with large enough canopies to provide shade during the hottest hours most days, but these trees are not abundant.

Benches are also placed along the fence line, but seating is a little limited on sunny days when the park is in full swing. Overall this is a great park to bring your canine and spend an afternoon. This dog park requires a key fob to enter through the fence. 

The fob is given to you after you have completed your application and submitted your yearly fee. This ensures every dog at the dog park is registered in case something happens and all has complete records on their up-to-date vaccinations.
