This park is full of nature, providing visitors with trails, six lakes, smaller ponds, lots of wildlife, and many different areas for exploration. Dogs can also come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash the entire time, and owners must keep an eye on their pups when they are in this park. 

While you are visiting Craig Lake State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Michigan State Parks System. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter this state park region, and female pups in heat and young pooches under four months old must remain at home. 

Dogs should be well-mannered before they enter Craig Lake State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their pups. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for their pups. If you plan to camp in this park, you must make a reservation.
