Cumberland Falls State Resort Park sits in a historical place, providing visitors with geological sights from long ago. Whether you want to relax in this park or check out the fantastic views, you will have a marvelous time. This state park was founded on August 21, 1931, and people often call this park by its additional slogan, “Niagara of the South."

When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find a tennis court, a visitor center, a gift shop, a swimming pool, hiking trails, biking trails, horseback riding trails, picnic tables, picnic shelters, campsites, lodging, and availability for gem mining. Dogs can also come to this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. 

During your trip to Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park officials. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
